Ed Sheeran painted his new album cover.
The 30-year-old singer is getting ready to release his upcoming fifth studio album and he revealed that he also designed the artwork for the project.
According to The Sun’s Weird column, Ed told a Hong Kong radio station, “I’m painting the album cover now. It takes a month.
“It’s a diaper, you wait a day, then another diaper and another diaper and you wait a day. So I did white, black, then red, turquoise, then I layered. “
Meanwhile, Ed announced a special to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut album ‘+’.
The singer will perform the entire album at O2 Shephard’s Bush Empire in London, with a capacity of just 2,000 people, on September 2.
A post on his Twitter account said: “On September 2, Ed gives an intimate show at @ o2sbe to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut album ‘+’. Find out how to request tickets here: https: // edsheeran .com / 10ansofplus. “
Speaking to NME, Ed said, “Although I have been fortunate enough to continue playing concerts around the world, Shepherd’s Bush Empire is still really special to me.
“When I first got into music one of my main goals was to someday make headlines on SBE and my first gig is always one of my favorite shows I’ve played. I can’t wait to come back and celebrate 10 years of the ‘+’ with you. “
