Ed Sheeran revealed that Jimmy Carr recorded backing vocals on ‘Visiting Hours’.
The 30-year-old pop megastar has revealed the 49-year-old comedian is making an appearance on the track on his upcoming LP ‘= (Equals)’.
According to The Sun’s Bizarre column, the ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker said, âComedian Jimmy Carr is in the background.
‘Visiting Hours’ also features Australian pop queen Kylie Minogue.
And the Grammy-winner’s star LP could also feature Ed’s other famous friend, Courteney Cox.
The ‘Shivers’ frontman revealed this week that he’s not entirely sure the Hollywood actress will appear on ‘=’, the sequel to the 2017 record ‘÷’.
He said, “She sings. I’m pretty sure she sings backing vocals for the album. I think she’s on ‘Visiting Hours’. Otherwise, she was definitely on ‘÷’ somewhere.”
The chart-topping music star went on to talk about how he came to work with the 57-year-old former “Friends” star.
He said, “Well, my producer and songwriter, Johnny [McDaid] go out with her. Me and Johnny write the most, like, we wrote ‘Shape of You’ together. We wrote ‘Bad Habits’ together. We work a lot together. “
And Ed recently teased that this was a “really personal recording” that took inspiration from him becoming a father.
The musician – who is releasing his fourth studio LP on October 29 – insisted it was a “coming-of-age record,” with songs written about his wife Cherry and their daughter. 12 months Lyra Antarctica.
