Kendrick Lamar Reveals Surprise Baby on New Album Cover Screen Rant

Kendrick Lamar, 34, gave her fans two surprises on May 11: a new album cover and a new baby! The rapper unveiled the artwork for his upcoming new album Mr. Morale and Big Stepswhich featured him with his family, including his second child, a newborn he had kept private until then, according to TMZ hip-hop. Pictured, the doting dad held his two-year-old daughter as his bride Whitney Alford sat on a bed in the background and held the baby.

“Mr. Morale and big steps. Photographed by @renellaice,” Kendrick captioned the epic and shocking photo. Once he shared the gem, fans quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts. Many of them couldn’t believe he was now that father of two and seemed excited about the good news.

“2 CHILDREN!!!!” one fan wrote while another wrote simply but effectively “WOW”. A third asked: “Do you have two children now? and a fourth called the album cover a “beautiful idea”. Others expressed their enthusiasm for the album and even called it “the album of the year”, a release which they thought was certainly “a classic”.

Kendrick’s new artwork and baby announcement reveal comes as he and Whitney continued to be in a devoted relationship for many years. The lovebirds met in high school and eventually started dating, but kept their romance private until they made an appearance together at the 2014 Grammy Awards. associated with Kendrick on her music when she lent her vocals to his song “King Kunta” from her Pimp a butterfly album in 2015.

While it’s unclear exactly when Kendrick and Whitney are planning to tie the knot, the loving fiancé called her his “best friend” and mentioned how much she means to him in a previous interview. “He’s my best friend,” he said Billboard. “I don’t even like the term society has put in the world for being a companion – it’s someone I can tell my fears to.”

“I am loyal to the land. At the end of the day, you still want to have real people around you, period,” he added. “Everyone around me has been down since day one and I can’t change that. I don’t change for anyone. I always show respect when respect is given and people who have been by your side, you are supposed to honor that. That’s how you get up.
