Luke Combs puts the “finishing touches” on his third album.

The country singer wrapped up his “What You See Is What You Get” tour last month and is now enjoying some free time, before releasing his next album.

He said: “This tour finally wraps up the long and weird chapter of my last album. I take a few weeks off and then we put the finishing touches on LC3. (Sic)”

Luke also thanked his fans for coming to see him on his recent tour, which he described as “the funniest, scariest, most rewarding and stressful musical experience” of his life.

He wrote on Instagram: “Well we did it. The ‘What You See Is What You Get’ tour is finally over after more than 2 years of setbacks. It was the funniest, most musical experience. scary, most rewarding and stressful of my life and I would do it again tomorrow.

“First of all I would like to thank all the fans who spent their hard earned money, waited all this time, through all the b *******, who still came out and filled these seats every night You are the reason we can do things like this and I hope we nearly put on the show you deserve.

“Second, my team. The band, the team, the management, the agents, the bus drivers, the truck drivers, the venue staff, the catering, the local stage crew, the label people and the sponsors. You know who you are if you read this, thank you. I know how hard each of you worked and how much you all sacrificed to make these shows happen every night and that’s something I will never forget.

“Last but not least, my beautiful wife @nicohocking and my friends and family. I love you all very much. Thank you all for being there for me when I was feeling down or needed to let off steam. and to be there to take pictures when we did I hope we take a lot more. (sic) ”

In November, Luke won the prestigious Country Music Association (CMA) Artist of the Year award for the first time.

The 31-year-old star, who performed a new song ‘Doin’ This’ earlier in the evening, said on stage: “(Host) Alan Jackson said my name twice earlier.

“I’ve never written a speech for something like this, which doesn’t serve me very well right now… I don’t deserve to win it, but I’m really glad I did.”
