Metallica unveils a limited edition figurine from the album cover … And Justice For All

Just when you think the year of Metallica couldn’t be more eventful – after the mammoth release of the band’s 53 artists The Metallica Blacklist tribute and the simultaneous re-release of their 1991 Black Album – the legendary Metal Formation have now added another item to their 2021 offerings inventory: a Limited Edition Statue of … and justice for allthe cover.

Limited to just 1,988 units – nodding to the album’s 1988 release date – the figure was produced as part of the Rock Iconz ‘On Tour musical memorabilia series and will come with a certificate of authenticity on the basis.

The officially licensed Lady Justice collectible is also hand detailed and will measure an impressive 12 inches tall.

On social media, KnuckleBonz, the company behind Rock Icons, announced the figure by reciting a few … And Justice For All Lyrics – “Soon you will satisfy their devouring appetites, Hammer of justice is crushing you, Overpower” – and revealed that the action figure will be shipped in the spring of 2022.

Pre-orders for the $ 199 action figure are now live, with KnuckleBonz describing the construction of Lady Justice collectibles as “a fine art process where each statue is hand cast, painted and numbered on the base.”

It’s the latest addition to KnuckleBonz’s Metallica lineup, the company having previously released statues for every member of the band, including Kirk Hammet with a Gibson Flying V electric guitar and James Hetfield with his ESP White Explorer “Papa Het”.

Other pieces of musical memorabilia in the KnuckleBonz range include statues of Queen members Brian May, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, as well as Lemmy from Motörhead.
