Red Dead Redemption 2 fan manages to remake cover of iconic Beatles album in-game

Whether intentional or not, one of Rockstar Games’ most beloved staples stores its realistic open-world games as Grand Theft Auto to the brim with entertaining or downright weird events that players can stumble upon. Fortunately, Red Dead Redemption 2 is no stranger to these exceptional unscripted experiences, and when the stars line up perfectly, even the Fab Four from Liverpool can seemingly make a surprise appearance in the Old American West.

There are endless references, quirks and new encounters for players to discover in the different regions that make up the Western action-adventure video game. Recently, a strange stuffed gorilla captivated the Red Dead Redemption 2 community, proving that even after three years, there is still no end to those weird encounters that catch the attention of curious gamers. However, what makes some amazing events much more interesting than others is when they happen out of pure coincidence, as it makes the experience more unique for the player.

Reddit user CommercialEar1079 shared a wonderful image of Red Dead Redemption 2 version of the iconic Abbey Road album cover. Captured while exploring the bustling streets of Saint-Denis, the image features the game closest to the Four Beatles, with lawyers sitting comically for the musicians. Surprisingly, from the rising sun in the background to the rays of light highlighting the four characters as they cross the road, almost everything of the 1969 album cover is present in the faithful rendition.

As a result, CommercialEar1079’s post went viral with over 3,000 upvotes as users celebrate the second time Beatlemania has invaded the West, albeit nearly 57 years earlier than the real thing. The gunslingers on the line seemed to enjoy the viewing Red Dead Redemption 2 law enforcement is going after pop culture as many hilarious people have referred to popular Beatles discography with lyrical parodies of hit songs, in particular, Eleanor Rigby, Here is the sun, more All you need is love.

For those who don’t know who John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison or Ringo Starr are, they are musicians from the 60s rock band The Beatles. Often praised for how they changed the face of music forever by recording albums such as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Abbey Road, their influence even spread to other artistic mediums with video games like Apex Legend’s reference to A hard day’s Night.

Overall, the amount of support and positive attention the community has shown at recess is a perfect example of how legendary it can be when two iconic pieces of art collide. Much like The Beatles, it’s safe to say that players will continue to honor the characters and the world of Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 for the coming years.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
